OUR SCIENCE PROJECT : REFREGENERATOR OF FOLK

A series of SMA N 1 Singaraja 63th anniversary, the school held a contest Science Project for grade XI, our class XI IS confused as to what to make the project science. Here we want to create a simple project based science but also has economic elements, we finally decided to make a project we call "REFREGENERATOR OF FOLK" refrigerator or freezer that is made ​​of clay, because the results of the fruits and vegetables that we keep on this simple refrigerator can we use to make a salad, after that we sell and get the money and than we store in our cash. Yeah, We Are ORION :)

Global warming causes the thinning of the ozone layer. Ozone depletion caused by several factors, one of which is air pollution caused by CO2, methane, greenhouse gases and CFCs generated by the refrigerator. Global warning is also an impact on the surrounding air is warmer, because it's more and more use of the refrigerator. This has resulted in increased global warming. This is what lies behind us to make a product that is appropriate technology "Refregenerator of Folk". This product is made from simple ingredients and easy to maintain and environmentally friendly which would reduce the effects of global warming

The materials we use are :

1 . Two jars of clay with different sizes , one with a large size and the other with a smaller size
2 . Materials such as sand , gravel and soil
3 . transparent plastic
4 . Fruits and vegetables
5 . plaster

 How to make  :

1 . Prepare tools and materials .
2 . Prepare jars of clay that are large and filled with three layers of material , while the order is sand , gravel and soil .
3 . Then enter the smaller barrel .
4 . Then the sidelines between large and small bowl enter materials in the same order as before .
5 . After that enter the water on the sidelines of the barrel that has been filled with these materials .
6 . Enter vegetables and fruits in a small bowl .
7 . Close at the top of the barrel with transparent plastic and tie and save .
8 . Fruits and vegetables will last up to three days or fresh .

 WEAKNESSES :

 - Fruit or vegetables are stored can not survive more than 3 days .
 - Influenced by the flow of water in the barrel , so the barrel should always be moist .

 - Serves only refreshing fruit or vegetables are stored .
 - Fruit or vegetables are stored the results are not as cold as ice cupboard .

  STRENGTHS :

 - You can use a used barrel .

 - No costly .

 - The material such as sand , soil and gravel easily obtainable .
 - Compared with cork refrigerator , the refrigerator is more environmentally friendly folk .
 - It does not require a lot of ice.
